Where Did the SAND Exploit Actually Happen?

The Sandbox says the recent incident was concentrated in its SAND bridges on Base and BSC, where an attacker minted unbacked SAND.

User wallets were not compromised, and SAND on Ethereum and Polygon remained unaffected.

Knowing where the risk sits matters.

This was a bridge-layer risk, not a user wallet compromise.
