The Julián Álvarez story just got a lot more serious.
Atlético CEO Miguel Ángel Gil Marín accused Barcelona of being dishonest and unprofessional. He also said Atlético will not negotiate with Barça at all.
Barcelona vice-president Rafa Yuste fired back, saying Atlético had “crossed a red line.”
Atlético say Álvarez is now under pressure and confused by the whole situation. They still want him to stay – but if he does leave, Gil Marín made one thing clear:
Never, ever Barcelona.
This is starting to look like a real conflict between the clubs 👀
