Meme-token founder burned ~10,000 TON

⚡️ The situation is curious, we tell you: it's about the meme-token blockchain TON — «VIRUS», which was listed yesterday by the TON Rocket team.

One of VIRUS' founders put the cryptocurrency into the DEX exchange's liquidity pool in the VIRUS/TON pair, where TON's number is ~10,000 coins.

After that, he sent the assets to a null smart contract address in the TON blockchain. In other words, he burned all the cryptocurrency.

🔥 By and large, the burned tokens and TON coins remained permanently locked in the DEX platform's liquidity pool.

But locked tokens in the liquidity pool =! lost forever, and it's important to understand that :)

The TON Foundation's theory confirmed what this means: in a future blockchain update it is proposed to introduce a suspended_list. This is a list of addresses that will not be allowed to make transactions for a certain period of time.

🚫 This list will include exactly those addresses, which were mining TON at one time and did not perform any more actions in the blockchain, in other words were either lost or forgotten.

🌡 It is known that the functionality is already being actively tested, and if the decision to freeze is made, then ~1 billion TON, i.e. 20% of the issue will be frozen for several years.

Time will tell whether this is good or bad, but we in turn believe that the more active the audience on the blockchain, the better.
