For people using wallpaper engine from my this post and are facing "version not supported issue" can uninstall the old version and use this one.
If you want all of your downloaded wallpapers just copy all the content inside myprojects folder (c:/users/<USERNAME>/Program Files/Wallpaper engine/Project) to the myprojects folder of the extracted wallpaperengine
Note - This is a pre-installed version of wallpaper engine so no need to install it just extract and use. To use workshop downloader just select the wallpaper engine folder you extracted as wallpaper engine path
If you face any issues in opening the app just add the whole folder in exception for windows defender
