"When I first got involved all those years ago, there were perhaps five people around the world who were even prepared to discuss the thorny issue of vaccine safety."

Now, more than half of the world's adult population says there's a problem. Families are having the conversation around their own dinner tables every night, whether to continue with the program or not.

"You're going to go down in history as a man that was way ahead of his time. I think one of the greatest scientists of our time is you. You called it before anyone."

The shift happened because people kept asking the questions they were told not to ask, and the trend line only points one direction from here.
