A career CIA operations officer sat before Sen. Rand Paul's committee and testified under oath about the COVID cover-up. Not a single Democrat was in the room.

The testimony was very straightforward. Intelligence community leaders and senior analysts actively downplayed the lab leak possibility. Dr. Fauci leveraged his position to ensure the CIA consulted a curated list of conflicted experts, several of whom had helped him rewrite the definition of gain-of-function research in 2015 specifically to lift a funding pause on dangerous research.

The whistleblower called it a national security crisis caused by a complete failure of oversight, and called for accountability under Executive Order 14292 with real enforcement teeth.

Without that whistleblower, none of this would be public. Not one Democrat showed up to hear it.

There was a time when protecting whistleblowers was a cause the left took seriously. People who risk everything to tell the truth used to be worth showing up for, regardless of which party called the hearing.
