🪙 Vitalik Buterin announced large-scale changes to Ethereum in the next 2 years.

The network is planned to be transitioned to STARK technology, to speed up transaction processing and increase privacy without the need for all participants to re-verify each operation.

In the future, blocks will be created jointly by 16 participants, and final transaction confirmation may decrease from the current 16 minutes to 8–32 seconds.
