🇪🇺 The European Central Bank has launched the service PONTES, which connects its payment system with the market for digital securities on the blockchain.

Through the new service, banks and investors will be able to conduct settlements in euro, backed by the ECB, and the regulator itself also plans to invest a portion of its own funds in such assets.
