🚬 Co-founder of Opera and creator of Vivaldi Jon von Tetzchner called for banning cryptocurrencies, comparing them to other technologies that, in his opinion, are too easily used for manipulation and bypassing control.

He has long considered crypto a speculative system without real utility and previously promised not to add either a crypto wallet or built-in AI features to Vivaldi.
