🇰🇿 Kazakhstan launches major crypto reform — authorities want to exempt individuals' income from digital asset operations on regulated platforms and provide a mechanism for legalizing crypto previously stored on unregulated foreign services.

Separately, the country will work out the use of stablecoins for cross-border settlements and mining using energy from associated petroleum and natural gas — meaning they are trying to bring crypto out of the grey zone and into a full-fledged part of the economy.
