🇵🇱 In Poland, members of a group that had been stealing cryptocurrency for years through SIM-swap attacks were detained — criminals intercepted phone numbers, bypassed 2FA, and gained access to cryptocurrency exchange accounts, and then laundered the stolen funds — we are talking about tens of millions of zlotys.

Polish cyber police participated in the operation with the support of the FBI, and the detainees face up to 25 years in prison.
