🇺🇸 Illinois Governor signed a law, which will introduce starting in 2027 a 0.2% tax on crypto transactions and tighten registration requirements for crypto brokers.

Authorities expect to receive about $60 million in additional budget revenue, while representatives of the crypto industry warn about the risk of companies leaving the state.
