🇺🇦 Zelensky confirms Starlink restrictions, begs Musk to restore service

Zelensky has "officially confirmed" that Starlink service in Ukraine has been restricted and asked Elon Musk to restore it.

Meanwhile, former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov said Starlink connectivity at speeds of up to 160 km/h is now "being restored."

"Fully lifting the Starshield speed restriction is now critically important for Ukraine's defense," Fedorov added, thanking Musk.

Worth noting: all of this comes from the Ukrainian side. Neither SpaceX nor Washington has officially confirmed that the restrictions were imposed in the first place, and there's no official word on whether full service will be restored. Who knows if the whole thing wasn't just a Ukrainian PR stunt.
