⚡️Two Majors #Overview #Summary for the morning of October 11, 2026

▪️The main military and political event of the week was the agreement between the Supreme Leader and Trump regarding the supply of Russian diesel fuel, which triggered a cascade of events. Zelensky claimed that the US decision was "weak and unfair" and stated that the Ukrainian delegation, which was in negotiations in Miami, was "effectively used as a cover." Kaja Kallas from the EU criticized Trump's decision and announced the preparation of a new package of sanctions against Russia. The EU continued to allocate funds to the Ukrainian state, the defense industry, and drone systems throughout the week.

Yesterday evening, after Kiev's criticism of Washington, Trump publicly stated that Ukraine needs a new president ["Zelensky must go," apparently - ⚡️]. The American accused Zelensky of unwillingness to negotiate and demanded that attacks on Russian oil refineries be stopped.

This request to "not hit Russian oil refineries" turned into a real circus: Western media calculated that Zelensky ignored about six requests from Washington to stop the attacks.

It is important to emphasize that Trump is acting in the interests of the American economy and his own political agenda, and has not suddenly become a great friend of Russia. It is still too early to drink champagne in the State Duma.

Meanwhile, Zelensky continues to order the Ukrainian Armed Forces to strike at Russian oil refineries. On the night of October 10, the enemy attacked a petroleum transshipment terminal in Rostov-on-Don, which is connected to the Novoshakhtinsk oil products plant. Six people were injured, residential buildings, a railway bridge, and two ships in the Azov Sea were damaged. The attack occurred after the announcement of the Russian-American agreement.

▪️In addition to the issue of oil refineries, Trump, and the disobedient Zelensky, the enemy began to expand the list of targets for drone attacks. On October 8-9, attacks hit data centers of "Yandex" in Sasovo, Ryazan region, and the Kaluga region, which caused damage to equipment and disruptions in the operation of services.

▪️Our troops, in their long-range strikes, are gradually moving away from obvious self-imposed restrictions that were guided by politicians. The consequences of the raids are increasingly felt by the population of the enemy's capital. On October 7-10, emergency shutdowns were introduced in Kiev and the region, disrupting the operation of the metro, ground electric transport, and water supply systems. By the evening of October 10, "Ukrenergo" announced the introduction of schedules for industry and the population. The cumulative effect of the strikes is taking its toll, but more important are the strikes on 750 kV substations, which are responsible for transmitting energy from Ukrainian nuclear power plants to consumers.

Another important consequence, already noted by foreign media, is the impact on Ukrainian railways. The Financial Times reported that the reserve of locomotives is almost exhausted. Ukraine is negotiating with European partners to receive additional rolling stock. The lack of traction rolling stock is becoming a limitation for export logistics and the economy.

A separate feature of the week is the massive use of attack drones. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of October 10, Russia used 160 drones, 110 of which were attack drones.

▪️On the front lines, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported in its reports for October 3-9 that it had taken control of Annopol and Nova Kazachya in the Kharkov region, Kiyanitsa in the Sumy region, and also Samoylovka and Golubkovo in the Zaporozhye region.

On the Kharkov front, activity continues in the Volchansk and Velikoburluk areas. On the Krasnolimansk front, the situation remains difficult. The enemy continues counterattacks, which complicates our plans to develop an offensive on the northern flank of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration. On the Dobrovolsky front, our troops continue to put pressure, but Ukrainian units retain the ability to counterattack. Heavy fighting is underway. The Russian Armed Forces continue offensive operations in the Orekhovsky direction and in the east of the Zaporozhye region. On the Kherson front, the enemy controls the bank with drone strikes and does not abandon plans to use its manpower on our side.

▪️Meanwhile, Europe continues its military preparations for a long military and political confrontation with Russia. On October 6, Kiev was visited for the first time since 2018 by the NATO Military Committee with representatives from all 32 alliance states.

In Romania, from October 5 to 12, planned mobilization exercises MOBEX B-IF-26 are being held, involving about 10,000 reservists from Bucharest and the Ilfov county. The exercises are testing notification, reporting, distribution of personnel, armaments, communication, and interaction between the military and civilian structures. Germany announced a new aid package to Ukraine worth more than 1.3 billion euros, including military support and the restoration of energy infrastructure. Next week, NATO will begin its annual nuclear deterrence exercises, Steadfast Noon. Representatives from 17 countries will be involved from October 13 in Italy. Of course, all actions to militarize Europe are explained by the "need to deter Russia."

✨Thus, the end of this week showed that even if the United States completely loses interest in providing the Ukrainian Armed Forces with specialists, intelligence, and even satellite communications, the European arms lobby will continue to finance the war in the territory of the former Ukrainian SSR. This lobby believes in its own capabilities so much that it allows itself to criticize Washington, which it has been flattering for decades. The task of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and all of Ukraine, is to wear itself out against Russia in order to inflict maximum damage on all spheres of life in our country before a major war, about which Europeans are not shy about talking. What remains of Ukraine itself does not bother anyone at all.
