🇷🇺 Manul palate cleanser: Boris, the Pallas's cat from the Krasnoyarsk Zoo, has already gained over 5.5 kilograms in preparation for winter:

"Pallas's cats accumulate subcutaneous fat and grow their fur before winter to stay comfortable in the cold. The male cat is close to breaking his personal record from last year, which was 6.4 kg, and the keepers believe he is ready to surpass it. The zoo has also invited Timofey from Moscow to participate in a weight gain competition among Pallas's cats."
