🇷🇺🇱🇹 Russia to take security measures over Lithuania's nuclear plans - Peskov

Lifting the ban on placing nuclear weapons and building a US military base in Lithuania will not help make Europe more stable or more predictable, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"If someone's military infrastructure, especially that of the main NATO country, is moving closer to our borders, then of course it can only be seen as a step toward rising tensions. The same is true of placing nuclear weapons on the territory of a neighboring state.”

Other statements by Peskov:

➡️ Germany's leaders are deliberately inventing a fake enemy in the form of Russia to justify their spending on militarization

➡️Putin will hold a meeting on Tuesday about the development of energy storage systems

➡️Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a series of international talks on Wednesday

➡️Putin's Direct Line and big press conference will be combined into one event this year.
