🇩🇪🇺🇦 Merz in Kiev: I hear the critics, but I don't agree with them

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz was asked in Kiev about growing criticism of aid to Ukraine at home.

"Criticism of aid to Ukraine is growing in Germany. How do you take it?"

"I hear the opinions, although I do not share them."

In other words, Merz will keep bankrolling Zelensky even if Germans are against it.
