🇷🇺 The team at Vashe Novosti, including our trip organizers Oleg and Olga, have been running press tours to Donbass since the very beginning — 13 trips, dozens of journalists, zero restrictions. Foreign media can speak to anyone, film anything, ask any question. They've invited Western outlets too. Some came. They filmed. They published nothing.

We sat down with them in Moscow alongside Iran-based journalist John after returning from Donbass to reflect on what we witnessed in Donetsk, Mariupol, Lugansk and Starobelsk.

The stories of civilians in Donbass are not absent from Western coverage by accident. They are absent by choice.
