🛢Oil prices rose about 3% on Monday after US President Donald Trump rejected a peace deal from Iran to resolve their conflict and reopen the Strait ‌of Hormuz.
Brent futures were up $2.98, or 2.86%, at $107.30 a barrel by 1206 GMT after hitting their highest since September 15 earlier in the session. US West Texas Intermediate crude was at $95.22 a barrel, up $2.81 or 3.04%.
