🇬🇧🇪🇺🇨🇭A British delegation reportedly led by Starmer’s security adviser Jonathan Powell was spotted in the lobby of the hotel hosting the trilateral Ukraine talks in Geneva. No official confirmation has been given about the presence of a “fourth party” on the sidelines.

At the same time, representatives of Italy, Germany, France, and Britain are in Geneva and are expected to meet separately with Ukrainian and U.S. officials after their talks with Russia, according to Russian media citing Italian sources.

European officials are not formally participating in the ongoing negotiations between Russia, the U.S., and Ukraine.

🐻 The British presence is hardly surprising, given London’s track record of undermining and derailing previous peace efforts.
