My attitude towards my native language:
1. I try my best to use English on this channel; using a translator to translate English into your native language might reduce misunderstandings.
2. Sometimes I really wish I could use my native language. On sns with character limits, I’m more adept at condensing Chinese text; I also personally prefer concise expressions.
3. At times, I do not wish to use my native language. I find it tiresome to inject emotional expressions into my sentences; even though countless people have shown me how to phrase things more smoothly and gently, I still cannot manage it. When using English—a language with which I am rather unfamiliar—I hardly give any thought to other matters; I simply focus all my energy on writing complete sentences, which makes me feel better.
