what ARE these fuck ass teams 😭😭😭

perfectly understandable from a 'shitty booking decisions circa 2025' standpoint and bc of other stuff thats happened this year too (like a bunch of ppl getting injured at one point for example)

but youre really gonna look me in the eye and say 'yeah. we decided to make ex-lij guys and bullet club dudes a whole ass THING for this years super junior (and i guess by extension world-) tag league' and im supposed to act like this is all fine and dandy especially the clark-yl, hiromu-[REDACTED] match ups????????????? not to mention these other bums all around the roster (sorry guys but lets be fr) like wheres my goat TITAN bro.......?????

ik the junior division is slowly sinking its own ship by making every title or trophy kinda revolve around my goats (which i obv dont mind at all. love to see my faves win etcetc) but it does create a weird vibe around this whole tournament feeling incredibly irrelevant and stale. not only bc of the same ppl getting the spotlight. im also referring to the yoh\wato vs despy\someone-else vs douki\sho and any combination in between for the umpteenth time 🙄 #sickanstwisted

as well as the most telegraphed pair of finalists in recent memory? like....... [redacted], there are only THREE pre-established teams that would make for a compelling finale. t h r e e (3)!!! what is this 2019???????

one solace here is that HOT arent winning this (which is also very #sad too bc id love a HOT domination storyline under any other circumstances) so this makes me think its gonna be either the tmdk guys or the yoh and wato of it all bc no way in hell any of those other teams are seriously gunning for the trophies or the titles. like you MUST be joking if you think that templario and fucking akira are anywhere on the board bro come on. and... the next thing is just abt my personal preferences but

idec how much wato has improved or how freaky yoh and sho are gonna explore each other's throats next, it's a wrestling papaya win or nothing for me at this point idc idc idc

i am rooting for my usual favorites though, of course. do NOT misunderstand and i KNOW tmdk have held those belts b4 a bunch of times too (or at the very least were gunning for them lots of times), but idk. i kinda wanna see them take it in the end. fooj deserves a good title run after his bosj win too 🥲

to circle back, the line up is definitely not as great as its predecessors but at the very least ik the despy and hiromu matches will be fire and the finale will surely deliver too, regardless of the teams that make it there

so in the end my official prediction boils down to:

- who id like to win - robbie\fujita (i want athletic insanity at wk20 idc)

- who i think will win - yoh\wato (both got the story with BOTH of the tag champs + it follows up on the whole everyone vs HOT angle njpw has had going on as well)
