Coming to a supermarket near you.
“3D Printed meat just hit American shelves. Israeli company Steakholder Foods just officially launched their 3D printed meat in stores under the brand name "Perfecta". They are selling 3D printed steaks, chicken, hamburgers, & fish.
the "steak" starts as two separate plant-based pastes: one made from soy flour to act as "muscle," and one made from seed oils to act as "fat."
both are bound together with methylcellulose, a laxative, then loaded into a 3D printer that prints them in layers to fake marbling.
They are now on US shelves. They wont tell you it's "3D printed".
Look for:
-Perfecta (the brand name)
-Plant-based.
-Plant meat.”
