You will
• design and deploy traditional and advanced machine learning (ML) models to iteratively improve Placid's business-critical models and systems that understand a user's behavior and credit risk
• develop data-driven champion/challenger decisions strategies to automate credit origination
• build source-of-truth dashboards to keep team fingers on the pulse
• conduct in-product user research to fuel engineering & product teams with insights
• provide support and guidelines along customers journeys, ensure customer satisfaction

• BA or soon-to-BA in engineering, statistics, physics, math, economics or similar from a top university
• break complex problems into smaller ones
• initiative, courage, and self-sufficiency
• enjoy working with data and using tools such as SQL, Python or SAS
• good business English writing skills
• bonus - understanding/experience with financial services
