One of the coolest things about Stickers on telegram, imo, is that you can right click and rip any sticker to import into Adobe. It will contain all the original names that the original artist had labeled the shape layers and you can see all of their animation rigging. You can study how they are built and designed, and you can easily swap out the character with your own. This is what I call a "Remix" and once you start paying attention to stickers more you'll notice a LOT of remixes. Some people like this feature and some people would like to pursue legal action haha.

I feel like most people can tell the difference between an Artist Remixing your sticker vs a Dev stealing your stickers. The entire concept of a Meme itself is all about remixing. We've all seen the gif of the truck about to hit a pole, I recreated it from scratch because I couldn't find any sticker on telegram that had done it before. But now if someone wants this meme they can just rip my sticker and swap out Groyper for their own character. Maybe they don't want it to say ATH, editing that stuff is fairly easy. If other people are empowered to start creating more and learning this super niche thing then I can only see that as a good thing.

Peer2Peer filesharing is super BASED. After all the bullshit the VideoGame industry has done to its customers, the LEAST they could do is give us GTA6 for free haha (And all quit)
I credit all of my sticker making skills to me ripping every sticker I liked and studying how they were made. Reverse engineering what the best Telegram Artists were doing was easier than trying to find the official docs to explain how some of these techniques actually work.

I make so many stickers every week but I try to only post the ones here that I made from scratch. I would never claim a remix as original. But those remixes I do in between are what make my originals better

It does seem like there is discussion or speculation on the future of Telegram Stickers. There's an idea that if stickers couldn't be ripped easily then they could hold value and be worth something. I'm torn on this because if you try to prevent people from Right Click Saving your sticker they will likely find a work around to rip it anyways and all you've done is make it harder for people to get into this hobby.

I'll buy any digital merch to support a project I believe in. But please allow me to always look under the hood and do modifications. We aren't allowed to take out the battery of our phones anymore. Cars are being built where the customer can't access the internals without an approved dealer technician. Don't take 3 second stickers away from me too hahaha
