Communion is not eating Jesus' literal flesh and blood. John 6 is where Jesus says He is the bread of life and goes on to explain to eat this bread, meaning you will never hunger. Obviously this is a metaphor for being saved. Just as in Luke 22:19 KJB, "he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me."
In rememberance of me signifies a symbolic gesture that Jesus performed.
Eating unclean "already dead things" is a sin, why would the Lord want you to commit a sin by eating His literal flesh?
