🐱 A new species of cat

📰 A call from a nature reserve about a “strange cat” led to the discovery of the first new species of cat in over 100 years. The animal is smaller than a typical house cat and has leopard-like spots; the proposed name is Leopardus tilcayo. It inhabits the Yungas ecoregion in Bolivia.
