URANIUM FINANCE HACKER CONVICTED IN $54.7M HEIST

Jonathan Spalletta, aka “Cthulhon,” has been found guilty by a federal jury in Manhattan for orchestrating the 2021 theft of $54.7 million from Uranium Finance.

According to prosecutors, he funneled the illicit proceeds through Tornado Cash, then used portions of the funds to purchase rare Pokémon cards and various high-value collectibles.

Spalletta has turned himself in and now awaits sentencing, facing up to 30 years behind bars.
