The head of the major pro-Kremlin Telegram channel "Rybar" and its affiliated network, Mikhail Zvinchuk, has been detained in Montenegro this morning with several of his associates, including his wife, local media report.

The move is part of an operation carried out by Montenegrin services and aimed at suppressing the hybrid activities of his network.

For many years, "Rybar" has been involved in the spread of Kremlin propaganda and conduct of foreign information influence operations. US State Department has offered up to $10 million for information that would identify or locate foreign actors involved in interfering in U.S. elections, including Zvinchuk and his associates.

The "Rybar" project is reportedly funded for contracted work by the Russian defense industrial organization "Rostec."
