“Ukraine is facing a financing shortfall of as much as $54 billion through 2029 as the war-torn nation seeks more funding from partners to repel Russia’s invasion, according to preliminary figures from the International Monetary Fund.

The IMF estimates that Kyiv will face a financing gap of $30 billion to $35 billion next year, $17 billion in 2028 and $2 billion in 2029, according to people familiar with the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The figures are subject to change.”
