👀🇷🇺🇩🇪 Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul are holding direct talks on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.

This is the first known meeting between the foreign ministers of the two countries since 2022.
