😐 CryptoQuant: Reducing the Fed rate by 25 b.p. stimulates risk appetite among institutionals and whales - open interest in BTC futures on Binance increased by 4.7% after the Fed meeting.

Open interest (OI) is the total number of all current futures contracts for an asset. The impact of OI growth on the market: more positions and capital accumulates, increasing liquidity and potential volatility.

🥰 A forgotten password from a crypto wallet brings millions of $$$ (CNBC)

NBA star Kevin Durant involuntarily turned out to be the perfect holder.

BTC, bought back in 2016 for $360-1000, all this time lay intact simply because the athlete lost access to the Coinbase account (+11,000% from the moment of his purchases).

The exchange team is already helping Durant restore access, but the basketball player’s agent admits that it was the forgotten password that saved the basketball player from premature sales.

😐 Changpeng Zhao: North Korean hackers are acting more and more sophisticated.

1. They pretend to be job candidates to get into the company.

2. They pretend to be employers - during the interview they send an «update» or «sample code» with a virus.

3. They disguise themselves as users and throw infected links into support.
