⚖️ William Lonergan, co-founder of the Samourai Wallet cryptomixer, was sentenced to 4 years in prison.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the service helped to «launder millions of dollars of criminal funds».

Earlier, the CEO of the project Keonne Rodriguez was sentenced to a maximum term of 5 years.

Details:
• Both pleaded guilty and have already paid more than $6.3m as part of the confiscation.
• After release, everyone was assigned 3 years of supervision and a $250k fine.
