🇹🇼 Taiwan plans to create a strategic BTC reserve.

At a financial meeting in the country’s parliament, two key departments, the Executive Yuan and the Central Bank of Taiwan, announced the preparation of an assessment of the possibility of including BTC in national reserves.

➤ The government is preparing a report on the actual volume of BTC seized by the state.

➤ These BTC are proposed to be used as a starting source for analysis: sell or hold.

➤ The Central Bank will publish a full report on the pros and against the inclusion of BTC in strategic reserves by the end of the year.

➤ Deputies criticize the excessive dependence of reserves on the dollar and U.S. government bonds.
