Congressman Ro Hanna plans to introduce a bill that will prohibit the president and elected officials from owning, trading or creating cryptocurrencies.

The goal is to eliminate insider trading and conflicts of interest, when politicians can use non-public information for personal purposes.

The bill extends the principles of the «Ban Congressional Stock Trading Act» to the WEB3 sphere.

The initiative was a reaction to the pardon of CZ by Donald Trump and growing concerns about the impact of the crypto industry on politics.
