🇧🇹 The government of Bhutan is transferring the national digital identification system (NDI) to Ethereum.

Previously, the project worked on Polygon (#POL), but now the authorities are switching to a new network for greater security and sustainability.

The NDI system allows residents of the country to store and use their digital documents without intermediaries - in fact, to independently manage their identity online.

The launch ceremony was attended by Vitalik Buterin and Ethereum Foundation President Aya Miyaguchi.
