🇨🇦 Canadian regulator fined KuCoin $14,000,000 - coindesk

Charges: work without registration and lack of due measures against money laundering and terrorist financing (AML).

Representatives of the KuCoin exchange appealed to the Federal Court of Canada, stating that the fine was excessive.

Recall: earlier the exchange had problems in the United States - then KuCoin pleaded guilty and paid almost $300m.
