🧐 #DOT Polkadot changes tokenomics.
Polkadot DAO voted to limit the total DOT supply to 2,100,000,000 tokens.
Previously, the emission was unlimited - 120,000,000 DOT was issued every year.
According to the old model, by 2040 there would be 3,400,000,000 tokens in circulation.
