πŸ”₯THE ECB PULLED THE RUG FROM UNDER STABLECOINS AND NO ONE NOTICED

While the world rushes to USDT and USDC to settle tokenized assets, the European Central Bank quietly launched Pontes - a system letting Deutsche Bank, Santander, and Clearstream settle directly in central bank money, no stablecoin required.

This isn't the digital euro you've heard about. It's a different move entirely - quieter, but one that could reshape the entire game of euro settlement on-chain.

What pushed the ECB to act now? And what three signals will reveal whether Pontes becomes real infrastructure or just a half-hearted pilot?

πŸ“± IS YOUR SEED PHRASE SITTING ON YOUR IPHONE RIGHT NOW? READ THIS BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE

A vulnerability called DarkSword is being actively exploited to silently drain crypto wallets - all it takes is clicking on the WRONG website in Safari.

How it works:
- A memory bug in Safari β†’ bypasses security layers β†’ gains kernel-level access
- From there: it scans Keychain, steals private keys, seed phrases, even messages & location

Real victims have already been hit in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Malaysia, and Ukraine. Targeted wallets include imToken, TokenPocket, and TronLink.

The good news: Apple patched this back in iOS 26.3. The bad news: millions of devices still haven't updated.

βœ… Do this NOW:
- Update iOS to the latest version
- Never click unfamiliar links in Safari
- Never store your seed phrase as a screenshot or note on your phone
- Moving significant funds? Use a hardware wallet

Share this so your friends update before they lose everything

πŸš€ BTC HIT $86K - ITS HIGHEST SINCE JANUARY - 6 DAYS AFTER THE US SENATE VOTED DOWN THE CLARITY ACT (49-50)

The market should've panicked. Instead, it did the opposite:
- Strategy is back buying - scooped up 950 BTC
- Strive added 1,355 BTC - closing in on overtaking MARA
- Bitmine grabbed another $75M in ETH, now holding almost 5% of ETH's supply
- $648M in short positions got liquidated in a brutal squeeze

So here's the question: if the odds of the Clarity Act passing dropped to just 14%, why is BTC still ripping higher? The answer isn't coming from Congress…

🚨 STRIVE STACKED ANOTHER 1,355 BTC - DROPPING $107.7M IN JUST ONE WEEK!

Strive's (NASDAQ: ASST) total Bitcoin treasury now sits at 26,355 BTC, worth over $2.1B.

Average purchase price: $79,475/BTC

The company also raised an extra $21.2M through warrant exercises

Worth noting: this buy even outpaced Michael Saylor's Strategy in the same week (950 BTC). Strive is accelerating its push to overtake MARA and become the world's 2nd-largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder this year.

The corporate Bitcoin accumulation race is heating up like never before πŸ‘€

🚨 TRUMP BANS CNN, MS NOW, AND POLITICO FROM THE WHITE HOUSE - THEY'RE FIGHTING BACK IN COURT

🚨 BINANCE IS BACK IN THE IRAN SPOTLIGHT AND THIS TIME, U.S. FEDERAL PROSECUTORS ARE ON THE CASE

Bloomberg just revealed: the U.S. Attorney's Office in Manhattan, alongside DOJ's Criminal Division, is investigating whether the world's largest crypto exchange turned a blind eye to certain trades that dodged Iran sanctions.

What's at stake:
- Core question: did Binance KNOW and let it happen anyway?
- Back in 2023, Binance paid a record $4.3B fine for similar violations and promised tighter compliance.
- Sen. Richard Blumenthal is running a separate probe, alleging nearly $2B in unreported flows to sanctioned entities.
- All this just months after founder CZ received a presidential pardon from Trump.

No formal charges yet but the legal heat is back on for the crypto giant.

🚨 POLYMARKET ALLEGEDLY IGNORED WARNINGS ABOUT A $10M FRAUD ATTEMPT?

According to the WSJ, fraudsters used stolen debit cards to deposit funds, place bets, and try to withdraw the money to accounts they controlled. At one point, the payment processor rejected over 80% of deposits as suspected fraud.

Here's where it gets controversial: when withdrawals slowed, management dropped the rule requiring funds to return to their original source. Compliance staff warned of money laundering risks, while CEO Shayne Coplan was reportedly urging the team to keep growing and deal with any fines later.

How did Polymarket respond? And is hypergrowth outpacing risk controls?

🚨 ONE CRYPTO KIDNAPPING EVERY 2.5 DAYS IN FRANCE

On Sept 16, four armed men broke into the home of a crypto industry worker, tied up the whole family (including two children aged 8 and 12), and took 40,000 euros in cash.

This isn't an isolated case. France accounts for around 80% of similar incidents in Europe. The first half of 2026 alone saw 77 cases, more than all of 2025 (67). 88 suspects have been charged, some of them minors, and the gangs recruit accomplices through Telegram.

The scariest part: a tax office employee allegedly sold investors' home addresses and declared asset values to criminals. The data you report to the government can end up as a target list.

Why has France become the hotspot, and why hasn't the government's response stopped it? πŸ‘‡

🐱 $NEARKAT IS UP 360% IN 7 DAYS AND IT'S NOT JUST HYPE

This memecoin pays holders real $NEAR . Every trade carries a 3% fee, which is converted into NEAR and distributed to holders. So far, around 258,896 NEAR has been paid out to 6,800+ wallets.

It lines up with NEAR Protocol turning on private-by-default perps (running on Hyperliquid since Sept 17). NEAR's price jumped, pulling its fan coin along with it.

+65% in 25 hours
Market cap around $13.8 million

⚠️ Know this: it's a fan project, not officially affiliated with NEAR or StonkFun. Liquidity is thin, volatility is extreme, and rewards come from the coin's own trading fees. DYOR and only risk what you can afford to lose.

🚨 KALSHI UNDER FIRE: $539M IN CRYPTO VOLUME, BUT ONLY $3.1M IN OPEN INTEREST

Beni, co-founder of Stealth Neolab and a former quant trader, is questioning the ETH-PERP volume on Kalshi:
- 24h volume: ~$539M
- Open interest: ~$3.1M
- Turnover: ~174x
- Largest single position: only ~$17,600

According to Beni, the maker rebate combined with reduced taker fees could push the cost of round-trip trading close to zero, creating room for wash trading. He also points out that the interface shows contract counts next to a "$" sign, which can make people think it's dollar volume.

Kalshi pushed back:
- Beni is confusing prediction markets with perps
- No rebates on crypto prediction markets
- Market-making incentives are similar to CME, Hyperliquid and Binance
- Kalshi doesn't handpick its clearing members

For now, these are only allegations. There is no independent evidence and no CFTC case. But Beni says he has obtained new, unpublished information and will disclose more after consulting lawyers.

Is high volume with low OI a red flag to you? πŸ‘‡

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¦ TRUMP NEARLY ORDERED STRIKES ON THE HOUTHIS, THEN CALLED THEM OFF AT THE LAST MINUTE

According to the New York Times, bombs were loaded onto aircraft, target lists were approved, and the first wave of strikes was reportedly about to begin.

By Sunday midday, Trump changed his mind.

How it unfolded in just a few days: - He first turned down the Saudi Crown Prince's plea. - After another call from the Crown Prince, he told the Pentagon to prepare for an attack. - Finally, he called it off, and officials said there will be no strikes "for now."

Per the NYT, most of his inner circle is skeptical of hitting the Houthis. Washington's priority remains Iran.
But the Houthis have seized the port of Mokha, less than 50 miles from the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, so the risk to Red Sea shipping is still very real.

With a policy that can swing this fast, is this really the final reversal?

🚨 A16Z-BACKED LAYER 1 PROJECT LINERA JUST SHUT DOWN

Linera raised a total of $12M, and it still wasn't enough to launch mainnet.

What happened in just a few days:
- Sept 9: Community token sale drew only ~$848K USDC, below the $1.5M USDC minimum β†’ all funds refunded
- Emergency fundraising efforts β†’ failed
- Sept 18: Founder Mathieu Baudet announced on Discord: operations cease immediately

The team says the cause wasn't the tech or the community. It was funding.

The takeaway: having a16z behind you doesn't guarantee the market will buy in before there's a product or revenue.

What do you think: is the market getting too tough, or has the shine worn off new L1s? πŸ‘‡

🚨 GOOGLE'S GEMINI "HACKED" 3 REAL COMPANIES, AND NOBODY PLANNED IT

During a May cybersecurity test, a configuration error gave Gemini internet access and let it break into 3 real companies' systems (by guessing passwords and using credentials leaked on public code repositories) before it stopped itself, and it only came to light when the WSJ asked.
