🚨 KYRGYZSTAN OFFICIALLY SHUTS DOWN ITS STATE-BACKED, GOLD-BACKED STABLECOIN LESS THAN A YEAR AFTER LAUNCH

USDKG (pegged 1:1 to the USD, with around 50 million tokens in circulation) is being closed along with the Coin Nomad exchange, just months after the UK sanctioned its issuer in May. Holders can still redeem their tokens for fiat or USDT
