On Oct. 1, Microsoft's official account was hijacked. The hackers changed the avatar to Clippy, reposted a fake impersonator account, and claimed "Clippy will return if this hits 500,000 likes" to lure buyers into the $CLIPPY token.
Microsoft confirmed the unauthorized access, said it has no connection to the token, and plans legal action. But how did the hackers get in? Has anyone lost money? And why was a disavowal post published, then deleted?
