Researchers at East Texas A&M University unveiled PQLN, the first post-quantum encryption solution for the Lightning Network - running alongside existing Bitcoin infrastructure with zero changes required, at the cost of ~10x more bandwidth, just as NIST prepares to phase out elliptic-curve cryptography after 2035.
