💸 made some calculations and about 60% of crypto cash committed and around 40% sidelined. not great not terrible.
definitely enough commitment to not let me do something retarded.

Overall assumption has to be now though that when nothing changes catastrophically the next days that bear is over with 80%++ and one wants to start dip buying quite aggressively

👀👀 first very significant higher high now on weekly and monthly

going to be very interesting to see how they close. if they dont entirely reverse over the next 7-12 days I think will be very hard to argue against a bullmarket and I would probably abandon my idea of being able to buy sub 60k again and therefore restructure my orders

had pretty lucky timing here where I was able to twap another 15-20% all weekend right before the breakout but still sitting on good chunk of cash nevertheless

close above = bear market over

this worked basically since 2018 I have not looked back further

somewhat exception was 2019 but honestly I think it would've worked 2019 as well w/o having the external covid flash

definitely quite powerful signal so can expect a lot of people to buy back in here

my assumptions now somewhat like 60% bottom clearly in, 20% 60k retest, 20% new lows and my positioning reflects this take

weekend was again all kind of war fud russia AND iran and all we got was a mini flush

even if you have been big bear you slowly have to become warm with the idea that the bear might be over

⁉️⁉️🧐 Backpack finally moving a bit. Every cycle has had dedicated new exchanges that did extremely well. BP is my pick for this narrative this cycle and I wrote in detail about it in the post on X.

I think this has a lot of potential but you shouldve obviously bot this when we were correcting and not now

so far i got decent amount of signups and close to zero trading volume. They havent adjusted my refshare down yet so I still handover the full 35% to subscribers but this will change probably soon due to me not hitting volume treshholds.

✍🏽✍🏽👀 in general what helped me a lot to sell the top should be valuable for buying back as well.

I think just approach market very logically and then act on it based on key levels. My analysis went something like this:

1. we made new high exactly at 4y cycle point and got strong rejection and oct 10th megaflush

this told me to pay attention and set a line in the sense. for me this day meant that basically every alt coin bidder got eliminated so there are no more buyers left.

strong bounce for btc provided nice level to pay attention to.

2. 10 10 bottom range was 108k. once this didnt hold this was my first sign bull is over and i sold some. However you couldnt be sure about anything yet

3. only a week or 2 later lost 50w sma which was basically bear confirmation and you could go flat essentially


i think a similar approach to the current situation is good practice. just try to apply unbiased logic

😮‍💨 some thoughts and painful lessons:

I sold BTC over the course of an entire year at 98k and eth around 3800 i think. Even if I buy back everything today I made a pretty penny albeit a lot less than i have hoped for.

Current spot is extremely uncomfortable still with seeing crypto pop while being severly underexposed. Probably first time this happend to me in the 9 years I am in crypto now.

Nevertheless I still prefer that spot compared to roundtrip and afterall this kinda is my job and I have a pretty good pain tolerance.

However I also pay zero tax legally.

So let's entertain the thought you played this as well as i did last cycle but your tax on crypto is around 20% which isnt unreasonable for most people I guess.

If you would buy back BTC here you would be breakeven and basically sat out a potential 75% drawdown. For ETH looks slightly better where you could buy back 10-20% more today.

For those priviledges though you had to pay w a lot of stress

Honestly makes you question if you don't just want to baghold majors (as a tax slave), suck it up and avoid a lot of headache?!

what i have done lately:

- bot 5% 75.550
- bought 3 clips dca btc w avg 78k will dca until eoy or btc 100k (3% size so far)
- dca'd backpack and have around 70% of intended size
- bot tiny bit ethfi and want to buy more for card (microposition)

i think default thinking now has to be some sort of bottom is in is more likely than 50%. i have like 50% exposure here if i count all my NFTs. So I would like a bit more exposure

Tbf overall I think this is not a bad option if you elect them to be the main card. The issue is you basically commit to the card for a year but there is insane competition and I could easily see competitors come out with same offer but better conditions.

In general those card fees are race to the bottom imo due to competition but no fx fees + cashback is honestly quite sick and we are at the early innings of bull/late bear so even the token could potentially gain

I want to stay flexible in regards to cards but maybe interesting to some people
