TRUMP PUSHES FED FOR WORLD’S LOWEST INTEREST RATES

President Donald Trump says the U.S. should have the lowest interest rate in the world, just days before the Fed’s closely watched policy decision Wednesday.

Asked whether he expects a rate hike, Trump said he “didn’t know,” but argued America’s credit strength justifies substantially lower borrowing costs regardless of the Fed’s formulas.
