Lightning Labs CTO Olaoluwa Osuntokun has introduced a prototype for a Bitcoin wallet rescue tool. According to NS3.AI, the tool aims to assist Taproot wallets in recovering funds if Bitcoin's current signature system is disabled due to quantum attack threats. Proof generation for the prototype took approximately 55 seconds on a high-end consumer MacBook.
