🚀 U.S. and Iran Reach Fragile Ceasefire Agreement

On April 8, U.S. Vice President Vance attended an event in Hungary, where he described the ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran as a 'fragile truce.' According to BlockBeats, Vance did not provide further details but mentioned that the agreement includes a ceasefire, the advancement of negotiations, and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Vance stated that U.S. President Donald Trump has instructed the American representatives involved in negotiations with Iran to proceed 'in good faith,' while also expressing Trump's eagerness for progress. He further noted that the United States is prepared to use 'extraordinary economic leverage,' although Trump has directed that these measures not be employed at this time.

Vance emphasized that if Iran engages in negotiations 'in good faith,' there is potential for an agreement, but ultimately, the outcome of the talks depends on the Iranians.
