There are two possible options of price action on Ethereum:

1) Instant breakout of the $2550 resistance — riskier option with tight stop loss. If it happens, it makes sense to open a small LONG with the target around $2800 - $2850.

2) Liquidity hunting below the $2350. If we see a structure where Ethereum breaks the support down and quickly comes back above — it is a signal to go LONG with the heavier size. Same target.

Overall priority is upward.

The price is following the line for now. It bounced from the $82,500 support and now faces the $84,000 resistance.

For now the descending scenario is in priority. We can go as low as $79,000 (final target for the dump).

To go up, we need to see a compression of the $85,000 resistance and a breakthrough. Until it happens — lower.

❗️Important: we are in the locally bullish market, so SHORTing is more dangerous than buying. I’d consider the possible decline as an opportunity to buy at first, not to SHORT it. Opening SHORT position here is risky, but the SL is clear — above $85,000.

The $82,500 support was lost. Took an L on my LONG trade, part of profits made on the way up was erased, but this part was quite affordable. So-called correction.

❓ Reason of the dump? Tons of them:
1) Viral tweet that AI breakthroughs can potentially threatens Bitcoin and other crypto in terms of breaking the algorithm used to secure crypto wallets, including Bitcoin.
2) US Government moved Bitcoins worth more than $1.5B from their wallets in the past 24 hours.
3) US-Iran escalation news -> Oil prices surged -> Bond yields go higher -> Stocks dumped
4) OpenAI annualized revenue $20B less than previously signaled (bad for stocks = bad for crypto).

The truth is, Bitcoin is now located in the deep layer of strong supports. Here they are: $81,000 | $79,000 | $77,500. Each one of them can make BTC bounce back to $88,000 and even higher.

👆I still think we will see Bitcoin above $90,000 in Q4 this year

What to do now? Buy Bitcoin on the marked levels. Don't use high leverage. Liquidation should be located below $74,500.
