💗 Job searching gets much easier when you stop trying to remember your entire career every time you find a role.
Keep one private document with the raw material you might need for applications:
• Projects you worked on
• Problems you solved
• Results you can quantify
• Tools and platforms you’ve used
• Examples of work you’re proud of
• Links to public work
• Positive feedback you’ve received
• Specific situations you could use in interviews
This isn’t the resume you send to companies.
It can be messy, long and constantly updated.
The point is to have one place to pull from when you need to tailor an application, update your resume, prepare for an interview or remember the details of something you worked on two years ago.
Your final application should be selective.
Your private career document doesn’t have to be.
