Apple temporarily removed Telegram from the App Store in several countries after identifying content that violated its policies on child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Telegram responded by promptly removing the offending content, banning the responsible user, and taking the necessary steps to comply with Apple's policies. As a result, the app was restored to the App Store shortly afterward.

The incident highlights Apple's strict enforcement of its App Store safety guidelines and the increasing pressure on messaging platforms to strengthen their content moderation practices.
