Uniswap Labs launched StablePair Hook, a new Uniswap v4 tool designed to help liquidity providers capture more value from stablecoin trading pairs such as USDC/USDT and USDC/USDG. The hook uses dynamic fees that adjust based on how far a pool’s price moves from its reference price.

When prices remain close to the reference level, StablePair Hook adjusts fees to maintain a fixed spread. If the price moves away from the reference range, trades pushing the price further away pay no fee, while trades restoring parity use a Dutch auction mechanism with fees that decline block by block.
The first StablePair Hook pools are launching on Ethereum for USDC/USDG and USDC/USDT.
Uniswap Labs said more than $38B in swap volume has already flowed through v4 hooks across 20 chains, with over 90,000 hooks initialized to date.
